The waitress that served us was excellent! I can't remember her name. I wasn't feeling well and she made sure I was still able to take my food with me bc I couldn't eat anything there. I could only drink hot tea.

This is a Great buffet. Very southern and uniquely presented Easy accessibility and we'll lit. Lots of parking Lots of seating Great atmosphere. Great music Service is fantastic Lots of great food and taste great Hot, cold and dessert bar. Kid friendly Highly recommended

One of the best southern buffets around. Great section, everything had good flavor and they even had fried green tomatoes on the buffet. This is a definite must go to if you are in the area. The waiter kept our drinks full and empty plates picked up. The salad bar looked good but I did not want to fill up on salad and not get a chance to try everything else. Still got full and did not get a chance to try everything I wanted. They do have a 10% discount for veterans also. Food on buffet was hot and fresh.

What a great place to have a filling meal of fresh ingredients prepared like your grandma used to cook. My wife ate the meatloaf and barbecue ribs and said they were both delicious, I had chicken pot pie, mashed potatoes and delicious gravy and baked beans. The blueberry crunch for desert was delicious. We drank iced tea and club soda and our total bill was 35 for two people before tip. Wonderful.

We've been eating at Fred's in Plant City for quite some time now. It has maintained very good standards in food that tastes like home cooking. In fact, over the years, we think it has only gotten better. Personally, I think lunch is the best deal. Dinner had gotten really expensive, and that's my only critique of this place. Breakfast is a good deal too, if you like to have a nice big meal in the morning. I commend Fred's for making a sink available to wash one's hands before navigating through the buffet line, and plastic gloves for one's hands for handling the ladles that everyone else has touched. Cleanliness is important to maintaining good health. Buffets may have taken a bad rap in this area, but Fred's is providing sensible options to anyone who wants a clean experience.

Country fresh food. Food put me to sleep but I got the buffet all you can eat special and you get free refills on your beverages. 2 people under 40 these days that a great deal

This is probably my favorite country buffet I've ever eaten at. My favorites were the sweet potato casserole, the black-eyed peas, the sweet rolls, the mashed potatoes, and gravy, the fried chicken, and the turkey in gravy. So I loved a lot of stuff! They have collard greens, corn casserole, soups, a salad bar, dessert bar, and plenty of drinks. The waitress was always filling our drinks and everything seemed nice and clean. It smelled so good even when we were walking inside from the parking lot. I wish there was one near where I live. There were a lot of people in there, but there was never a weight at the buffet. Everything flowed very well and everybody was very friendly.

Authentic southern yum food! I don't even eat meat and still had so much good food to choose from. It's a restaurant that I always bring my out of town guests for the southern food and atmosphere. I've never had a bad server. It's a staple restaurant for me with a small town vibe. You'll love it
